lyrics

Trap door, set for the slaughter.
Smiles at the thoughts of a new world order.
They need distractions. Another freak show.
Pull the slaves towards the idiot box.
They play God. They play God with the elements of the malevolent and sonic endeavours.
The house of cards they protect with stack upon stack which is fueled by the low hanging panic attack.

The chaplain walks around the room, burdened by a faltering faith.
Is this a soul saved or damned?
Haunted by guilt’s possession.

I just cannot take it anymore.
Hands still shaking from the cross.
I just cannot take it anymore.
Heart is still aching from the loss.

Echo death, the scene is set.
Most bad seeds bloom from the downward pressure.
Loaded fantasy, a dual reality, inhabit a world of atmospheric traps. Damn thorn in my side, erupting like a distorted mushroom cloud. Formed to force your downfall.
I wish I could stand ten feet tall.

A plastic soldier walks around the room, burdened by the sounds of silence.
Is this a soul saved or damned? Greeted by deaths obsession.

I just cannot take it anymore.
Hands still shaking from the cross.
I just cannot take it anymore.
Heart is still aching from the loss.

Treacherous serpent. Poisoned by my venomous tongue.
Treacherous serpent. You truly were the seductive one.

I found her there, slaughtered by the altar of plagues and sin.
I saw you there, wrapped in the gown and shouting from the pulpit.

He closed her eyes, shutting out the sorrow from the pale blue skies. Then he tasted wine, opening up the lies growing on dreaded vines.

Peace is his theme but it's hard to see with blood on the screen. So sick of your games, putting out the fire while dancing in the flames.

You've made your mark, now follow your shadow into the mist and dark.
Can't change the past that screamed like yesterday and died at last.

Count all those years, living through the suffering with worry and fear. There's no escape, slave since the cradle and set for the grave.

So let me rot in hell on your twisted nails of faith.
